I want to thank you for the wonderfully sturdy Airfloat Strongbox that I recently purchased from you to ship a rather large painting to a competition in Philadelphia, PA. I am happy to report that the painting made the trip up and back safely in your container.

Based on the evidence upon return that a sharp object had penetrated the cardboard, the plastic liner did its job by protecting the canvas from direct puncture.

In addition, the painting itself faired well in Philadelphia, as it took the Grand Prize at the Portrait Society of America's International Competition.

My favorite fine art shipping box is a "StrongBox" from Airfloat Systems … I am not affiliated with this company in any way, but I do own multiple StrongBoxes and have reused them as needed. If there are just one or two framed pieces of art, my first choice is always for the padded, hard-sided cardboard reusable cartons from Airfloat.

I have owned their cartons, in various sizes, for years and years, and the boxes could have their own frequent mileage accounts. By protecting the art by nesting the pieces in dense foam, and by having non-pierce sides, the art travels safely.
