• Will Glas-Skin damage the glass surface?

  No. Glas-Skin is safe for use with museum glass, conservation glass, anti-reflective glass, no-glare (anti-reflection) glass, and clear glass.
  
  

• Can I use Glas-Skin on non-matted artwork?

  Glas-Skin is designed for use in situations where the glass is separated from the artwork by mats or spacers. However, Glas-Skin can still reduce the chance of damage in instances where glass is placed directly over the artwork surface.

• Is Glas-Skin easy to remove?

  Yes. Glas-Skin is a low-tack adhesive that is easily removable, even after several months in storage.

  
  
  

• Why not just use regular tape to secure the glass?

  There are a number of reasons to use a

  • Glas-Skin is safe for use on all types of picture glass
  • Glas-Skin comes in 6” and 12” wide rolls for complete coverage of the glass surface
  • Glas-Skin is easy to remove after shipping and won’t leave a sticky residue on the glass surface.
